We go to the Pilot House often, mostly for
lunch. The food is always good and the Scollop
Rockafeller are wonderful!!!!! My husband loves
the collards and orders them every time we are
there.

ordered oysters Rockefeller....
I think they were canned oysters.
they were very, very small,
had way too much spinach and sauce.
Very disappointed.
Spoke to server - she didn't care very much and offered no apologies.....
rest of lunch OK - but not great.
too bad - there are many other restaurants in Wilmington.....

I ate at the pilot house last night with me and my boyfriend, He had the filet and I had the sweet pot grouper, Both were cooked to perfection, our server seem very concerned with our service even though he was triple sat.loved sitting on the deck, shuch a wonderful experince.

On Friday evening, Feb. 4, 2011, my wife and a lady friend of ours had dinner @ the Pilot House. We were one of two tables that were occupied as it was about 5:30 PM. Our waiter seemed to loose interest when we were only having soup and an appetizer as our entree. We were still eating our soup ( which was not as good as usual) when he arrived with our entree. I mentioned to him that we weren't finished with our soup and he offered to take it back into the kitchen, we refused, and after finishing our soup we started on the entree. None of the three appetizers seemed very fresh and we felt that they may have been left over from lunch. Needless to say I was very disappointed with both the food quality and the service. I have lived in Wilmington for over 17 years and this is the first time I have been disappointed with your restaurant.

had lunch april 2nd ---the view was good service fari and food bad---french fries were ver ver hard --(not crisp)---oyster did not have any taste----sad!!

Quite enjoyable with a pleasant wait staff and view of river traffic from the patio. Both lunch and dinner have been repeated treats on our multiple visits. We highly recommend the shrimp and grits. You should sneak a peak at the two day preparation for this entree. Enjoy a stroll on the boardwalk after dinner. A beautiful respite.

My husband and I have been to the Pilot House many times.
We have found the wait staff friendly and accommodating.
The food is delicious. I personally have not tasted a seafood
dinner that I did not like. The food overall has eye appeal and
is tasty. We have eaten lunch and dinner there and have
had a delightful time.

My sister had her rehearsal dinner here and it was a perfect night! We loved sitting on the deck watching the river. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful!
