The atmosphere at Big Daddy's is laid-back with great outdoor seating where you can enjoy cold beer and the ocean breeze while digging into tasty, affordable seafood like ribs, fish & chips, and peel-and-eat shrimp. Seth the bartender and the staff provide friendly, welcoming service that makes it easy to relax after a day at the pier, and even our chocolate lab felt right at home.

With a vibrant atmosphere and inviting outdoor seating, the experience was enhanced by cold beer and delicious food that didn't break the bank. The service was exceptional, especially from Seth the bartender, making it a memorable dining adventure that I can't wait to repeat.

Cockroach infested.. management hair sucks absolutely sucks.. the only reason this place makes money is hapless tourists because nobody from Wilmington eats here

we sat down and ordered our drinks... this is where we should have gotten up and left. our drink was made incorrectly and had to be sent back. We ordered a different drink and our food, it took roughly 45min. upon getting our food; my wife bit into her crabcake sandwich and it was awful, my burger was supposed to be medium and was cooked far past well. my wife then ordered a hamburger to replace the crabcake sandwich, after waiting 15 min with a terrible sandwich sitting in front of her. 20 min later the burger came out, the fries were cold and they did not make it as we ordered. We then asked to have a manager come by and no manager came by within 15min so we decided to get the check and leave. we were told that the manager was fixing our check and then all they took off was the items that they messed up. we were at the restaurant for over 2.5 hours and had to change our plans for the day. When we left I wrote a note to be contacted with my number and e-mail and no one has tried to contact me and it has been 3 hours and counting.

My boyfriend, our two sons and myself haven't been to Carolina Beach in years. We decided to give Big Daddy's another try since we were staying in a motel very close. From the overall service to the quality of the food, everything was horrible! I have never had such a terrible restaurant experience in my 42 years! Good luck to them!!!!
