On a chilly evening, a warm bowl of soup hits the spot, especially with such friendly service and a diverse menu. I dove into the Nime Chow and black pepper wings, both of which were outstanding, while the drunken noodles and Tom yum soup were decent. With reasonable prices and generous portions, this is a go-to for satisfying Asian food that always delivers.

Must go back

the food was great minus the human hair that we found in both main dishes. When we handed it to the manager she blamed us.
The Peking ravioli are deep fried so beware.
I would return if we can be promised no hair side dishes.

While the food is very good, their store hours seem to fluctuate to their discretion. Often closing twenty min before they should.

Gourmet House has REOPENED!!! The new interior is beautifully designed, and the food is as tasty as ever.

I am very disappointed that Gourmet House closed.
It seems to have been bought out by Apsara Palace which is a block away and awful. I don't understand how they were always packed when the Gourmet House was almost always empty once they moved in. There was no comparison. Apsara Palace's food is not nearly the quality or the flavor of Gourmet House and the staff at Gourmet house was always cordial and attentive as opposed to the indifferent wait staff at Apsara.
Gourmet House, you will be missed!

Gourmet House was the most amazing place to dine! Cheap and extremely delicious. Everything was always so fresh and tasteful. Unfortunately, they closed and I wished they didn't. The door said under new management but they never opened their doors again. =[

This is the only Asian food restaurant we will eat at - real authentic. But wondering if they are still open. Lately we can not get anyone to answer the phone. If they are closed we will be devastated!!!!

This is my favorite restaurant. I would eat here everyday if I could. This is not a fancy place but service is solid and the food is tasty.

The food speaks for it self. My wife and I love this place. Gourmet House is the best Thai, Cambodian Pan Asian restaurant in providence hands down! I have been to the one next door and was very displeased. Gourmet House has been on hope st for so long. They will always be better than the rest

My go-to restaurant in Providence. Nothing like Nam Choi and Bee Bong for a filling n super healthy meal. They are also BYOB and there is a liquor store right across the street.

Excellent menu selections, many interesting choices. The food was well prepared and nicely presented. Very authentic Asian. Prices are reasonable and a good value. Dinner for two with appetizers and a glass of wine each came to $42 plus the tip. We went on a weekend when the lunch specials were not available, but there appeared to be quite a few choices and most priced in the $5-6 range. I'll need to go back some day for lunch to try them out.

This is my spot in the city. No way you can go wrong here, one of the best restaurants in all of Providence and certainly the best value. Appetizer, meal and dessert for two consistently less than 20 dollars. Try the fried ice cream, vanilla, it is fantastic!

Excellent Thai food and very hospitable wait.
Would go back there AGAIN AND AGAIN.

We love the fact that we can order Vietnamese noodles with our egg rolls here. They have a bit of everything Asian. Food is excellent as well.
