I grabbed some lunch to go and was super impressed by how tasty and affordable everything was, especially the nori chicken and warabi salad. The cozy, old-school vibe and friendly service made the whole experience feel like authentic home cooking. Next time I'm on the Big Island, I'll definitely swing by early to try more of their delicious local dishes before they sell out!

Hey, I found this awesome spot in Hilo for a quick and tasty lunch! The local fave Hilo Lunch Shop has a great selection of goodies charged by piece. I love their nori chicken and egg Maki - so delicious! Make sure to swing by early, they sell out quick!

Food is awesome but they always run out of cone sushi!

My Daughter tried to call in and no answer, went down and girl that took her order for cone sushi placed order to be made, people that came in after her got their orders before my daughter so when asked why, she girls that makes cone sushi doesn't like the girl that placed the order. What's up with this, some one should be fired, not good for business. Al you can do better then this.

Horrible service! Workers are cranky, rude, and inconsiderate. They will never answer the phones and if they do, after a hundred rings, they will pick up and hang up on you! This happened to me at least three times! If you don't like taking orders on the phone, just say so! No need to be so rude! Kawamoto lunch shop way better and the food is top notch!
