I visited this place years ago and grabbed some mocktails and a snack before a show. It's nice to see something still standing when many of my old hangouts are gone. The venue for the show was great, although on the small side, with the balcony almost hanging over the stage. The sound was intimate and sweet, and the food was delicious, especially the Not Tots. The staff at the venue and Bar Bar were incredibly welcoming and fun, making our experience fantastic.

Whoever wrote the one-star review must have an axe to grind, and must have never eaten brunch at this restaurant. Mississippi Station has a very good lunch and dinner menu with a little something for everybody, but their brunch is really top-notch stuff, uncomplicated and great food. Check out that bacon-avocado benedict with the city's best hollandaise, or the beignets (so glad they made it onto the regular menu!), or any of their amazing brunch specials-- the smoked tomatoes are unbelievable when they're available.
