Driving tired from Raleigh, we grabbed dinner from Ali Baba on the way to our hotel, and it turned out to be an incredible decision-the dajaj mashwy stayed piping hot and was absolutely delicious, while the vegetarian platter, especially the babaganush, was a standout. The warm, authentic atmosphere paired with friendly staff and generous portions made the meal unforgettable, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit whenever I'm back in Newark.

After a long drive up from Raleigh, my partner and I decided to grab dinner from Ali Baba on the way to our hotel in Newark. It turned out to be the best decision we made that day. The dajaj Mashwy stayed hot and was a delicious treat, especially paired with the flavorful babaganush on the vegetarian platter. We ended up with enough leftovers for dinner the next day, or perhaps a lucky treat for the housekeeper if we forget to take it from the fridge again.
