Oscar's Meat Pie Shack always delivers amazing pies with flaky crusts and flavorful fillings that keep me coming back, whether I'm at a festival, a brewery, or just ordering frozen to enjoy at home. The staff is super friendly and genuinely passionate about their craft, which makes the whole experience even better. Their meat pies and Scotch eggs are perfect for on-the-go snacking, and I've been known to burn through my stash pretty quickly because they're just that good.

I had the pleasure of meeting Oscar at the Payson Scottish Festival in Utah, where his food booth offered a perfect menu for the event's theme. The steak/mushroom and beef mince hand pies were delicious, though the pastry was slightly underbaked. Despite that, the experience was friendly and the food provided great value for a festival setting.
