This BBQ joint surpasses the overpriced offerings at Wiley's and leaves Papa's fast food BBQ in the dust. The chef's attention to detail and pride in his cooking is evident in every dish served. After finally stopping in for lunch, I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices, generous portions, and exceptional quality of the food. The ribs were slightly more done than I prefer, but the light, tangy sauce won me over. The sides stole the show, especially the creamy, peppery macaroni and cheese and the perfectly crispy yet tender fried okra. I regret not trying this place sooner and am already planning my return visit.
