During a long weekend in San Francisco, my husband and I discovered Mariposa Baking, where every gluten-free item we tried-from breakfast sandwiches and pastries to breads and savory empanadas-was consistently delicious, thoughtfully prepared with clear allergen labeling, and made with care by friendly staff, making it a rare and treasured find for someone with celiac disease like me.
