Rude. Awkward. Cheap skates. Overpriced. Advertises vegan friendly but not vegan or friendly at all. Lady got super weird & pissy when I asked if they could sprinkle rice instead of cheese & sour cream. She refused. So I said ok how about a few extra leaves of spinach instead of the dairy we were paying for and not getting. NO she snapped. The strangest weirdest most awkward experience ever asking for a dairy substitute. Which most ALL restaurants do, except this one. So weird. Such a weird stressy unwelcoming vibe. The dish was mostly lettuce with literally like 5 chips. Very dry (with no cheese or sour cream and they do NOTHING to make up for that such as adding gauc or salsa). Not vegan friendly!
No bathroom.

They opted to lose business over giving us a couple of to go lids. They adamantly refused to give us lids “they’re for to go orders only”. The whole place is to go. Edisto is a bike friendly town, they absolutely wouldn’t bend even when my husband offered to PAY them for lids just so we could get this food home on our bikes.
My adult niece who works in food service got and upset and handled the situation in a poor way. She is young and frustrated with how we were all treated. I diffused the situation and we left after several other patrons tried to help us and suggested we go to the pizza place next door were willing to give out lids.
I tried to call the owner and give him a chance to explain and fix this before leaving my reviews. He informed me he can dispute the reviews and have them removed…especially if he calls the police.
So in a nutshell, they wouldn’t give us 50 cents worth of lids for food we paid for. He felt threatened by my 90 lb niece and got in her face to the point I had to pull her back out of fear he was going to hit her. And I leave reviews for him to now threaten to call the police and issue a restraining order against a 90lb college student.
I have witnesses as well, big guy. Work on your customer service or you’ll be out of there like every other place who has rented that spot the last several years and went out of business.
