We've been steady customers since it first opened , and we gladly take out-of-town friends and family there. I've enjoyed Mexican food for over 40 years from Maine to California to Mexico. I think this is the best I've ever tasted and the service compares favorably to any 5-star restaurant in the world. The food prices are comparable to others in the area, and the drinks prices are better than others. Always my first choice for Mexican food!!

Family type atmosphere, kid friendly. Our waitress genuinely tried to do her best. Unfortunately, the man who served our food brought the wrong dish for me and left the STEAK OUT OF MY HUSBAND'S STEAK FAJITAS; then, he disappeared and didn't come back. He basically threw our food down on the table and left to take other dishes to other customers without making sure our orders were correct!
When we FINALLY got our orders corrected, my chicken tacos were *seriously* lacking chicken and were mostly lettuce. The guacamole was over-blended and had a sharp, acidic flavor rather than the mild, avocado flavor it should have been. The rice was INSTANT - and the refried beans were reconstituted. There was NO HINT of fresh beans! They were just gross - no texture, lacking flavor - powdery - yuck.
My husband's fajitas did not come with cheese, either - he had to ask for it.
And then they charged extra for the cheese!!!!!
As avid restauranteurs, we frequent many of the local Anderson spots and have had really good Mexican-style food (and some not-so-good) at several other restaurants - this one is, by far, the worst. Even El Monterrey's is better than this place.
Spend an extra five minutes in the car and go to a different Mexican restaurant. Don't waste your time or money here.
