I am the owner of Vics Pizza bought it a year ago and this is a response to the review from Ann she did purchase 2 pizzas and as she stated she lives at least 20miles from Vics. Our pizzas are placed in boxes and they are HOT and STEAMY out of a over that is 455 degrees when HOT STEAMY items are placed in a closed box they are going to sweat and become moist not crisp anymore. I offered this lady numerous coupons ($8 worth per pizza) when she barley spend over $30 so I was offering her half of her $ back on each pizza and he refused. I am always more then willing to work with customers if I feel the issue was due to something on our end, but not if you are picking up pizzas that are HOT and STEAMY in boxes and driving that far, I suggested to her that next time she get her pizzas half baked and she can finish cooking them at home and will not have the issue of wilting pizzas from the steam and boxes. We have many customers that order this way that live distances from Vics. Please if you are going to write a negative review of vics please make sure YOU state the TRUTH not give just bits and pieces of the story! In the last year since we purchase Vics we have had more GREAT reviews then not.

We ordered 2 pizzas this evening. When we got them home they were undercooked in the middle. I called and spoke with the owner. She told me to bring them back and they would make new ones. I told her that wasn't feasible unless she was paying for gas as we live about 20 miles from them. She said that was all they could do because people are always complaining to get free food. I assured her that wasn't the case and that my husband orders from them often for work functions. She then offered to give me a couple of $2 coupons off my next order...Really!!!! $2 off a $16 pizza. I told her to keep her coupons and we will take our business elsewhere. I also noticed that the place was empty...kinda strange for a Saturday night. Maybe others have received this kind of treatment and don't go there anymore also. It's sad because they used to be our 'go to' place for pizza. Not anymore, we won't go back there!

Vic's has always had the reputation of being the best pizza in Springfield. Due to the cost of gas and the distance I hesitate to go there often. I spent almost $40 on pizza tonight and I will never return. I don't know what has happened but the taste has changed. No longer the thinner corn meal type crust, was dry and they have cut back on the amount of topping...such a disappointment.

been eating vics for over 30 years ,the ownership may change the same great pizza and stacey flynn is a very good server,polite friendly and hardworker.
