While driving through Tennessee, a traffic delay led me to Tennessee Valley Winery, where I enjoyed free tastings of a diverse selection of both sweet and dry wines. The knowledgeable and friendly staff, including the owners, made the experience especially welcoming, sharing insights about the wines and ideal food pairings. Sitting on the hilltop with a glass in hand, sampling local cheeses, and chatting with the team turned an unexpected stop into a memorable afternoon that I look forward to repeating.
