We just left there and for most of our group the food was good but my gyro the meat was dry dry dry and the tomatoes were almost green not hardly ripe I guess by hiding them in the sandwich they thought I would not notice they used to be sooo good but now for some reason have gone downhill

Friday December 30th walked in with a friend asked for a table by the window was given a table in the middle of the room so I had to ask again then she walked away never asked us what we wanted to drink finally came back asked us what we wanted to drink never asked us if we were ready to order had to wait again to order the bread was brought to us burnt they brought two people one bowl of marinara sauce I could see if it was a man and a wife team but it wasn't it was two friends coming in there I asked for a bowl of marinara 1 hour later I got one after one of the managers who were serving people the manager that is completely covered in tattoos set my bowl of marinara down on the wooden wall well she served someone else I am my friend were there first so then she turns around and picks up the bowl of marinara that she set behind her on the wall that everybody walked by and she brought it over to us I refuse to eat it I said would you please bring me a fresh bowl of marinara I finally got it when I was finished with my meal I have been going to Gondolier since they opened they have done nothing but gone downhill. I ordered the chicken Slovakia plate which I have ordered since this place opened. They brought me five fries I ordered the dinner plate not the lunch plate I was charged $12.99 for the dinner plate. I ordered all romaine lettuce on my salad I did not get all romaine lettuce I got plain lettuce no black Greek olives whatsoever and they have always put four black olives on that salad I had to ask for them I got them when I was finished eating. Told one of the managers that that ought to be or is against I'm sure health regulations setting a bowl of marinara down on a wall while everybody walks by it and you serve somebody else that walked in after the people who need the marinara when I said you know I ought to tell the health department. I got told by this manager as she laughed it off go ahead call him they like us. I also went to Gondolier's and had my two go to meal chicken Slovakia plate here about 2 weeks ago the chicken had no seasoning whatsoever on it nothing NADA it was Bland. Never been treated so bad at this restaurant ever never been treated this badly at a restaurant anywhere ever. The only good waitress you have at this restaurant is Lulu she is the only reason why people come back. Fire that fat -ss unethical tattoo covered woman or you will lose more customers and the other so-called manager was just as bad she is the one that told me call the health department they like us oh I will believe me I will.

We ate here Saturday night & Monday afternoon both times Bread sticks were under baked. Both times the restaurant only had average 7 couples dining, yet servers sat people so close to each other. I don't recommend going back. As a matter a fact I won't.

Just letting you know this was the worse service I ever received from Gondoliers restaurant. 4152020 ordered dinner @5:40 and was told it would be ready in about 20 to 30 minutes. to call once my son got there to pick up. He got there at 5:50 and called and called multiple times to let them know he was there finally @ 6 o'clock they answered and said the order wasn't ready waiting on the bread. At 6:45 they came out with the order. No receipt or apologies was given on top of that the food was cold and the bread was hard as a rock and uneatable!!!!
If you are going to say 20 to 30 minutes on a order then it should not be much longer than that or the food should of been discounted or free. I order from this business once a week but I guess my business is not appreciated.

Hubby just picked up dinner at Gondoliers in Harriman and asked for extra bread. He had been told on a previous occasion by a manger he could have extra bread any time at no cost for carryout....after all how much do we consume dining in? (Anywhere from 5-10 sticks with the marinara!) After going through two managers tonight he was told two small sticks of bread would be enough and he would have to pay for any extra. He told them to keep their bread....he didn't want it! Not sure we will even be dining in anymore with that kind of service and attitude!
