I’ve waited a while to share this experience. I didn’t have a problem placing my order, the cashier was courteous and friendly. While I was ordering, one of the employees decided it was time to mop the floor right in front of the fryer that held the basket holding the French fries. Granted, it seemed like a good idea, I like restaurants that are kept clean. Anyhow, this clever kid dumped some water on the floor from about shoulder height and it splashed up…RIGHT INTO THE FRY BASKET. He proceeded to mop up the floor and ignore the floor water and grime that splashed into the fryer basket. At that point I explained why I no longer wanted fries with my order. The casher was quick to remove the fries from my order. However, they did nothing about the mop-water-soaked-fries in the fryer basket. As I walked out the door, I saw them scoop out fries out of the basket and place them in a bag for someone else’s order. I still go to Jack’s in Adamsville because for a drive thru place they make a good burger when I don’t want to drive all the way to Savannah or Selmer. I NEVER order the fries though. I really only posted this review because I couldn’t figure out where to complain to the Health Department. I suspect the only reason they are in business is lack of competition in such a small town.
