My husband, and I went to Pollos El Gallo in La Vernia. When we arrived it was not busy. The atmosphere was nice and clean. The waitress was polite and that's where the good stopped. We ordered hamburgers that came with fries. The fries were soaked in grease. I mopped the grease off with my napkin.I noticed the hamburger was a little off in the texture. I asked my husband how his tasted . He said a little funny. I thought maybe the texture was the cheese. After a couple more bites I opened it. The meat was gray and mushy. The waitress asked how it was. I told her my concerns. By then my husband was finished with his . She offered to bring chips, or a baked potato. I declined mostly out of fear. She said the cook said they are home made. Thats how they always are. I should not be able to spread cooked hamburger with a knife. Of coarse we paid for it . The other food may be good, but I will never be back to try. I hope we dont get sick.
