Passing through Vernon, TX, I overheard people talking about the Chicken Shack and decided to try it, and the crispy, juicy fried chicken along with the amazing fried okra and biscuits did not disappoint. The service was friendly and fast, the restaurant was clean, and although they only accept cash or checks, the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere made it well worth the visit.

While passing through town, I overheard locals praising the Chicken Shack, so I decided to give it a try. The fried chicken was delicious, with a crispy coating that wasn't greasy. The service was friendly and efficient, and I was impressed by the cleanliness of the restaurant. I'll definitely be stopping by again, but it's worth noting they only accept cash or checks for payment.
