My wife enjoyed the chicken fried steak while I had the smothered steak, both of which were cooked perfectly and flavorful. The ambiance was welcoming, and the service provided by Mary Lou and the staff was exceptional. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience with generous portions and a variety of homemade options.

My wife and I had the chicken fried steak and the smothered steak for our meal, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The smothered steak was cooked to perfection, generously topped with onions and mushrooms, while the chicken fried steak was also very tasty with perfectly fried okra on the side. The ambiance was welcoming, the service was excellent, and our server Mary Lou was fantastic - we will definitely be returning to this gem of a restaurant for more of their homestyle cooking.
