I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this Bagel Nash. The staff's behavior was downright unpleasant and unprofessional. Despite the fact that service dog certifications do not exist in Ontario, they demanded proof of certification for my service dog. I tried to educate them about the law and even showed them my doctor's note, which clearly established the legitimacy of my service dog. My intention was to help them differentiate between genuine service animals and fake ones in the future. However, their response was shockingly ignorant and insensitive. They still insisted that they didn't want a dog in their food establishment, completely disregarding my rights and needs. Feeling disrespected and frustrated, we had no choice but to leave and take our business elsewhere. It's disheartening to encounter such a lack of understanding and empathy in a supposedly customer-oriented business. I would strongly advise others to reconsider giving this establishment their patronage.

On Friday April 24 at 8am I was it he store to buy a challah and bagels. To my horror I saw a customer with his blue gloves lift the plastic covering the bagels; stick his grubby blue gloved hand into the bagel box to take bagels. There are signs (not really well visible) and boxes of plastic gloves to use. Needless to say I did not buy bagels. I told the cashier what i saw and left the store. I sat in my car and watched the guy walk out the store to his car blue gloves and all.
In the spirit of hygiene in these troubling times why doesn’t Bagel Nosh bag the breads and bagels!!!
