Home Plate is a casual sports bar with batting cages and a game room. The atmosphere is laid-back, the food is satisfying, and the prices are reasonable. The staff, like bartender Anna, are friendly and hardworking, making it a great spot to relax and have fun.

When you walk into Home Plate Sports Bar and Grill you would think that it is nothing more than a local bar with the regulars sitting there. Don't let that fool you. The food is first rate and, I believe, all made on site. In our visits there my wife and I have had the burgers, pizzas, carolis, steak sandwiches and one time, corned beef and cabbage for St Patrick's Day. We have brought a number of friends for lunch there.
Also, the ladies behind the bar are a lot of fun and greatly add to the good experience there. For those who like games, the batting cages and video games are fun.
The only downside is that the bathrooms are literally a trip. In this I mean to get to.
Overall, a very good experience and a place that we always go to when we winter in Tucson.
