After taking in the summer version of the Circle Craft Market at the Vancouver Convention Centre, my friend and I started looking for a place to grab a bite. I was pleased when I spotted the Blue Edge Organic Cafe's sign that they could provide alternate gluten free sandwiches, wraps, panini's or bagels. We decided to eat there. My friend got a regular wrap, and I ordered a gluten free vegetarian wrap. I queried the man who took my order that they understood preparing something gluten free required specific adherence to making sure no cross-contamination of gluten (ie, wheat crumbs etc.) Then I carefully watched the person preparing my wrap. She new what she was doing throughout and I had no qualms about eating my wrap.....my first-ever gluten free wrap.
We were both pleased with our purchases and I will be back to try their other gluten free menu items.
