The omurice here exceeded my expectations with its perfectly cooked, creamy egg and flavorful tomato sauce, making it more enjoyable than similar dishes I've tried elsewhere. The beef belly katsu sandwich was tender and rich, while other dishes like the fried chicken karaage and crispy cheesy onigiri offered bold, satisfying flavors that made for a memorable meal despite the somewhat sketchy neighborhood.

I had been eager to try Dosanko for a while, and finally had the chance to visit. The restaurant, located in a cozy corner of Strathcona, offers a unique take on Japanese cuisine with Western influences. The omurice was absolutely delightful, especially with the generous serving of tomato sauce. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the friendly staff made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
