I found this spot a year ago and the people in this area are very fortunate to have something this good to go to. It's a port in any storm! A meeting house of good friends delicious home cooked food truly old school and water tastes like water! I don't give out 10's very easily... And being in the restaurant business I'm even more critical I'll give him a 12! And this time it was the lemon meringue pie ..holy toledo... See everyone in the fall

Used to go for breakfast here once or twice a month but last time was the last time. Found a long hair in my eggs benedict (not mine or my husbands). I spit it out and waited for the server to come back. Well our server never returned to the table to ask how anything was and my food sat uneaten. She was apparently to busy taking care of the "regulars". Finally a young lady doing coffee refills (not our server) came over to give us a bill and asked how everything was and I told her about the hair. She replied "I'm sorry" and left the bill and walked away. I am giving this 1 Star for the terrible service more than the hair although it was truly nasty. Just a matter of time before this place goes under again.
