05/28/2025 - Hey F.
During my visit to Victoria, BC, I enjoyed the Mad Hatter tea and found the service to be attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, which made the experience very pleasant. The tea room offered a cozy and elegant atmosphere with freshly prepared sandwiches, scones, desserts, and a wide selection of high-quality teas that were both flavorful and satisfying.

very good

This tearoom used to be my favourite place for lunch. I had not been for awhile and after my last visit I left feeling disappointed. The food was good but my favourite lunch of tea sandwiches and soup was only available one or two days a week between 11:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m. Now they want to sell only the expensive full teas that not everyone can eat, especially we seniors. And you cannot share. Also, children's six years old and under must pay $30 for their tea. They cannot have a bite of Mommie's big tea. They obviously do not welcome children and want to deter them perhaps. I think it is very sad if the odd child comes in with their parents the tearoom forces them to pay $30 for their small child under six.
I am no longer interested in supporting this restaurant.
