Tonight after driving 9 hours in hard rains, we thought we would give the restaurant a try (conveniently attached to the hotel). I had frog legs that were done Cajun style. They were done just right. The servers and manager were very attentive and pleasant. Most of all, Jason the owner came over and offered us to try his long time family recipe for alligator and sauce. They were outstanding. Thank you and when we travel this way again we hope to stop in.

The food is greasy & over priced. The staff are rude and arrogant, including the owner. I will never eat there again !!!

Disappointing experience. Ordered two dinners: a four-item seafood platter and surf and turf. The seafood was VERY greasy. The fish, shrimp, and scallops were VERY overcooked. The crab cake seemed to be mostly bread. The steak WAS cooked perfectly but the scallops were hard and I think they were fake. They tasted like fish. The oysters were good but there was only two on the platter. All this cost $70.00. I WON'T be back.

Unfortunately I left a one star review. I’ve been to badeauxs well over 25 times or so. Every time I have family in town, it’s the local place we rave about until last night. My mother,mother in law, daughter and myself went for dinner around 6pm last night. I ordered chicken club sandwich spicy and the parents order bacon wrapped scallops. When we received our food all 3 plates were Burnt. They were busy and I explained to my family it is never like this and I would bring them back again on a less busy night because that is how much I normally loved the restaurant. At this point our waitress must of seen all 3 plates not touched hardly at all and said is the food good? I said I’ve been here a lot but it is a tad off tonight but I know you are all very busy, I didn’t know there would be a live band today. She says I’m sorry and walks away. Then comes another young women to the table. She flys up to the table and goes i am the manager Tiffany what is the problem. I say the same thing to her and literally state normally the food so great, everyone has an night. I’ve been in the food industry so it is no worries. I know your busy tonight . So she goes well your chicken isn’t burnt ,it’s the seasoning since you can’t tell in a completely unprofessional way.I said it is no big deal, so she states it again more loudly. I said I’m not sure maybe It’s the grease trying to keep the situation calm, maybe it just needs changed or something and now she wails her hands in the air and says nope changed Wednesday and we were closed yesterday, so nope not it. At this point she is close to yelling and says so what do you want in its place pretty much screaming it and leaning towards me
Now at this point. I said nothing but thanks. We got the check and left. Will never return. We order takeout at a minimum once a week from there. Never again. I don’t care about an off night for food, but I won’t be treated like crap when they asked why we weren’t eating and then pretty much yelled at like a child from a quote on quote manager.

Had a gift certificate.. Meal and tip was 6.00 less than the certificate. Kept waiting for them to bring us the balance . Finally asked waitress about this and she said "WE DONT GIVE BACK ANY BALANCES". So I said are you kidding me, if I had a $100.00 gift certificate and only got a 50.00 meal then you keep the $50.00. Ridiculous, Do not get gift certificates there..

We ordered 2 -3 piece seafood combo platters, mine was , 1 small piece of fish, 5 schrimp, two froglegs. The coleslaw tasted extremely old, but the fries and hush puppy’s were good. Was over charged by 5 dollars also. Will never eat it again. And the wife’s plate was same way, but made her sick later in day. Think was the slaw

We have been going there quite often. Usually pretty good. But yesterday my whole family went. I ordered the Cajun wings....not Buffalo wings. When I got them, I knew they looked a little red, so I tasted them and sure enough they were Buffalo wings. When I told the waitress about this, a guy from the back came out and told me that the chef had started putting Texas Pete in with the Cajun seasoning. I'm sorry but I don't think they are the same thing. I do NOT like Texas Pete. I was never offered anymore wings. I was told I got what I ordered. Not a happy customer. Not sure if I will be back.
