My initial visit was disappointing due to a negative encounter with the manager, but after discussing the issue with one of the owners, Chris, we returned to find the establishment under new leadership and had an excellent experience with attentive service and delicious food. During our stay in the historic Washington Cottage, we enjoyed the charm of the old home, beautiful grounds, and amazing breakfasts, despite some minor coldness in the room that was easily remedied with a fire. The combination of friendly staff, rich history, and proximity to wineries and trails made for a relaxing and memorable getaway that I look forward to repeating.
