I've frequented The Downtowner many times over the years whenever I visit Ripley. The current owner, who hails from the Smithers area like myself, has created a welcoming and cozy atmosphere at the restaurant, reminiscent of a piece of Mayberry. The service is friendly and efficient, the food delicious and reasonably priced - definitely a worthwhile stop in town.
