Restaurant Description

The Original PJ’s Pizza is a carryout style pizza and sandwich shop that Ohio Valley residents have loved for decades. The mouth-watering taste of PJ’s special recipes will remain the same says new owner Robert Donaghy. “The recipes and ingredients have been beloved since 1969. We wouldn’t dream of changing something that works so well. We know this is the first stop for people coming home for the holidays and we want to make sure they get the PJ’s they have enjoyed since childhood.” Menu favorites include PJ’s Special, a square 16” pizza with pepperoni, onions, green peppers, hot peppers, sausage, and a special seasoning, and the PJ’s Works, a sandwich loaded with green peppers, hot peppers, onions, black and green olives, mushrooms, ham, sausage, and pepperoni.
The shop also features Pepsi products, Mr. Bees potato chips, the only WV made potato chip.

New owners should change the name, it's nothing like the Original PJ"s Pizza. No longer worth ordering went from the best pizza in town to the worst.

Ordered a pretty nasty sandwich from here. If you think I'm lying try it for yourself. Definitely not the same as it was ten years ago. I get it sometimes mistakes are made but the last 3 times I have gotten pizza or sandwiches from here they were at the lowest quality and it just gets worse each time I decide to try it again. Do yourself a favor and get a frozen pizza or one of those cardboard dominos pizzas or pizzahut. Dave portnoy would give this pizza a 3

Been loving PJ’s pizza since I moved here in 1977. Since the original owners sold I have bought pizza there twice.the crust isn’t as good and toppings are different.i m guessing it was to save money, but if u would have stayed the same u would have made more in the long run. Now I buy pizza hut

This is not the original PJ's pizza the area is use to having. Will not be getting this again. Bring back the original pizza!

This pizza has always been AWESOME and we order quite frequently. When new people took over we were afraid they would change it. They didn't at first, but lately we have found that it isn't the same. We ordered yesterday and after we had it for dinner, my husband told me he didn't care if I ordered from here again. I am very upset because we have had this wonderful pizza since the 70's. Definitely not the same!

I live in Pa. and during my travels, I came across PJ's and decided to give them a try as I am a Pizza connoisseur and have had many years of working in the pizza making industry...I ordered a XL pizza with some cheese sticks...Over all, everything was pretty descent but the pizza could have had a little more cheese and did notice that the bread used for cheese sticks was frozen dough and only got one little cup of marinara sauce to dip...I know everyone has their own opinion, so mine is this...It was pretty descent, but for the price I paid,it just wasn't worth what I paid....
