I have been several times and this will probably be my last! When they first opened,it was great but over the last 5 or 6 visits,it has become awful.The steak is chewy or fatty and asked several times to be cooked well done,they can't even do that.The rice is dry like it has sat there all day.We went tonight-$35 and could not eat it.We bought our daughters to go orders and ordered fillet mig.We thought this would be a better cut of meat-got it home and could not eat this.I am so dissapointed and frustrated!!If this keeps up,they will loose alot of customers.

I don't usually like Japanese food from places like Hiro, but I love Hibachi Express. I usually get the Hibachi Steak entree with fried rice. But I leave off the veggies, but keep the mushrooms and I add broccoli.
The only thing I don't like is that they give you less steak and more rice. I end up having leftover rice almost every time. So, I reheat it, and eat it the next day. Their fried rice is excellent if you put some white sauce on it.
Their white sauce is actully better than a lot of chain Japanese resturants. The white sauce is to die for. That's why I get 4 cups every time I go.
Also, as mentioned in some of the other reviews, the service is great and they are pretty quick at getting you your food.
Hibachi Express is my favorite Japanese Resturant.

Not a bad little to go place. Prices are good, and the food is good as well. A tad salty for my tastes at times though.

their excellence is consistent. friendly staff, the chefs are easy going. the reasonable prices add a lot of value to the menu considering the high quality of food, and boy are they quick! great for lunch.
