I found a fantastic Mexican restaurant where my daughter loves the Camarones Costa Azul and I always go for the Carne Asada. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and I can't wait to go back for more!

Yum
01/14/2011 - Great mexican restaurant!
We go to the La Costa at 3617 Market. We have ALWAYS gotten good food there. You get plenty for the money, and the staff is always timely and courteous. I even took my best friend here when she came to visit from Raleigh, and she loved it as well. We moved from the Raleigh area last year and the Mexican restaurants there hardly seasoned their meat. That's not the case at La Costa; their food is so delicious! I would highly recommend this awesome restaurant!!

I dislike La Costa very much. The only dish worth while is the Chicken Chipotle. Others seem to like it but I feel the dishes get boring. I also think the food is "acidy". The bathrooms are the most disgusting things you'll ever set your eyes or nose on. There is green on the toilet and a horrible smell. I do have to admit there salsa and guacamole is good. Do not waste your time here unless you desperately need Mexican food.

We were in a local motel looking for Mexican food. Happened upon La Costa,3600 Market Street, after having Chinese the night before. My timid wife demolished her tostado, and I had the pleasure of some of the BEST tamales and rellanos I've had in a very long time. We're looking forward to our next visit to Wilmington and a return visit to La Costa!

AMAZING. Superior to El Cerro Grande.
By far the best Mexican restaurant in town. The food is so fresh and deliscious. It doesnt taste all, mushy and canned like it came frmm the school cafeteria like El Cerro Grande's food does. Fast Service, great environment!
And the Queso Dip is TO DIE FOR!! Literally!

The best Mexican food in town. The staff is great, the service fast and friendly, and the atmosphere clean and pleasant.
I will definitely go again, and will recommend it to friends.

This is the best mexican food my damily and I've eaten. We've had been going there for 7 years and we never got tired of it. The cheese dip is to die for. We're in Connecticut now and we'll never find a better place....

The food is excellent and you can tell they use only the freshest ingredients. I have been here a handful of times and have not one complaint. Service is great, they are very nice and food comes out quick. Chips and salsa help you snack while you wait for food and the salsa is amazing! I really recommend this place.

La Costa is a very clean restuarant with a lot of atmosphere. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly and are willing to assist in any way in any way they can.
The food is excellent. So bring your appetite with you when you come. They don't over do the servings on your plate. You will leave here with a new respect for the Mexican Culture when you experience new tastes that will spice up your palette.
