Driving through town with my husband starving for Jamaican food led us here, and while I'm usually not sold on the spices, the oxtail totally won me over with tender, flavorful meat that felt like a warm hug from the island. The cozy, brightly colored spot has a tiny carry-out area, and though the rice and peas were a bit bland and the cabbage a tad salty, our picky toddler happily devoured it-always a good sign. Friendly service, generous portions, and authentic vibes make this a solid choice for anyone craving a taste of Jamaica, even if the veggie patties remain an elusive mystery.
