Kelly's is great. If the cook can do an over-easy egg without a touch of "plastic" on the edge, the acid test of a first-rate breakfast place has been met. Add friendly service, crisp bacon, excellent coffee at a reasonable price--what more could one want?

Whoever that other person was who was writing a review is a total turd. This is a great restaurant, and anyone who goes will "get it". Sounds like that dude needs some other club to go to, something more exclusive. Some old guy "you crazy kids, you just don't get it!". Go, get the hash, drink the coffee.

This isn't for college students. You students I don't think will get it. I don't say that to make you feel bad, I say that because if you go there, you just won't understand it. It's not you're fault. You just need to be a local to make it all work. When you walk in, you'll see Al and Helen and you won't know them. Or, Jeff...or Pete or any of the other regulars.
It's like going to see your friends for breakfast. The coffee is always hot and flowing. The pancakes are always perfect and eggs cooked just the way you like em. Good hash and omelets that are so consistent it's almost scary. And, not many places can do a poached egg like they can...if they do it at all. At Kelly's, they won't even blink an eye if you ask for it poached. The prices are decent and the service is spot on. So if you are a student, and you decide to go, go more than once. Maybe, just maybe you'll get it.
