Been going to the Hawk's nest forever and the food is always consistently great! Love the Seafood gumbo especially. I'm in Austin, TX, now and always stop here at least once if not more often when I come home! A real treasures!

Food is always good - some slowness in service but food remains the same quality. Recommend for a good casual lunch.

Got my order wrong.
Got my bill wrong (overcharged me, of course).
Didn't bring me utensils.
Didn't bring napkins.
Waitress never came around, not once. The cook (or someone) brought my food.
Waited FOREVER to get the check and longer to get it corrected.
I was very patient at first but, dang, that was ridiculous!!!
Don't go . . . it isn't worth the hassle.
