I completely concur with the review of Sri. The staff is particularly impolite with Indians! Which doesn't make sense to me as an Indian!
Anyway, the staff went out of their way to ensure that a Caucasian couple were comfortable but would not extend a similar courtesy our way. In fact, it seemed like they were doing us a favor by seating us in their restaurant.
I would happily walk to "Tamarind Bay" right across from Bombay Club at Hvd Sq; their food is excellent (not the run of the mill stuff) and their treatment of their customers is way better.

* Food is terrible. For any one who knows the taste of indian food, please beware this restaurant. Food is bland and tasteless. Poor variety in Buffet.
* Service is bad . The maitre d is rude and only smiles to those with a suit and appear to have a fat wallet. Indians please beware. This place will look down on you. Stay away. Also remember this place reminds you of the discriminatory rude attitude of the east india company imperialism.
I had a terrible experience at this place. The maitre d' seated us. We went to the buffet to pick up food and when we returned he moved our things and told us rudely that the place he asked us to sit is reserved for an old couple who visited them for 18 years. No please, No sorry and No thankyou. The old couple in "Suits" stands around and asks us .."So is our table ready or not?" After three rounds to complaining to the other staff the maitre d walks out to apologize in what I would say a truly unapologetic manner. So desis..remember this place does not like you, unless you are related to the white house.

Decent chain. Food is above average and they have a great buffet.
