This place is great!!! Love the sushi and the atmosphere is wonderful!! The people are really nice and I love to watch the chef prepare my sushi.

I've eaten here 4 times now and it has become our go to place for Sushi in Longmont. We used to eat at the sushi place on Nelson/Airport Road but the food quality started to deteriorate. Anyway, reading the past reviews, its obvious that at least the sushi chef has changed. The sushi here is phenomenal. Their BB Roll is not to be missed. The Vegas roll is pretty good too! I love rainbow rolls and try them at every place...Sushi Cafe puts a coleslaw type filling in the center that matches with the fish superbly. I've eaten sushi all over the U.S. and this place is comparable to some of the best in Atlanta or Denver.

The food is okay, but as a former employee (for a very short time) I can say that this resturant is very disorganized and not run properly. I was trained in one day, when they owners knew I had no previous resturant history. I never felt comforatble serving customers because there were never any concrete rules to follow. I was a hostess, waitress, busser, cashier and janitor all at the same time and for the very first time. Other than that they pool my tips. The manager even took a cut out of my tips, for what reason I don't know considering that I did pretty much everything except make the food. The sushi chef and the kitchen help took out of MY tips also. They were looking for unexperienced teenages to trick and rip off, luckily they only got me for a little more than a month.

I'd been a regular there for a while. Food have been OK, but with the new head chef, well, it's a whole different story now. He ROCKS! Best sushi in town, if he makes it. They have started serving Sake, Beer and wine too recently. With the new special offer ( Get one warm sake, get one free ), if you have not checked the place out yet, it's the best time to give it a shot.

This place is terrible. It is obvious that the review on this web page from Sept was placed by the owner or someone who works at Sushi Cafe. Do you really think you are fooling anyone? My entire dinner was spent listening to the Asian Chef/Cook yelling at these young white waiters and waitresses which they seem to have beaten into submission. Shame on you for treating your employees so poorly.

I thought this place was awful, especially when such great suchi places are so close. I should have known when we walked in and all the workers were white teenagers. Another red flag was that they served pop (soda) in cans. The food wasn't very good; I only ate half of it. I would recommend Kho's which is like 0.2miles away, or Sakura which is like 1-1.5 miles away. Both area a bit pricier than what I am used to but the best around here. They are owned by the same people but I do prefer Kho's.

If you're an adventurous fan of good sushi, check this place out. With an unusual menu, friendly and attentive wait staff and comfortable, tasteful atmosphere, this two-month old restaurant is a breath of fresh air amid the chain restaurants that pepper the landscape of Longmont cuisine. Since there were so many interesting items to choose from, my husband and I decided the best way to approach the menu was to start from the top and work our way down (it'll take us plenty of visits.)
Check this place out. You'll be greeted warmly, attended to carefully and will leave with happy taste buds and a satisfied belly. Enjoy!
