Just spent two nights in Burlington. First night our meal was disappointing, but the second night, we went to the Ice House. What a change, everything was perfect. Great food, raw oysters, tuna steak sandwich, cheese plate and more. Service was competent and friendly(I hate having to choose one or the other). The room and the space between tables etc was fantastic. A very comfortable and enjoyable evening.

On one of the worst snowy nights, we were few of the patrons that braved the bad weather for a great dinner - the seafood cioppino, special that night, was outstanding. Others had steak or filet and were not disappointed either. The signature cheesecake is wonderfully different and worth a try. The service was okay, we had a very green server who said "I think" a lot, and wasn't used to opening a wine bottle - maybe the experienced staff left early b/c of the storm...

The entry I had (fried chicken strips and fries was excellent. The view is nice and the service was was a very pleasant and extremely nice smile. I would recommend the ICE HOUSE to everyone.

We live an hour away, but drive to the Ice House several times each year. It is a consistently good restaurant with terrific ambiance and always superb presentation of meals.I highly recommend the Ice House.

Have been dining here for years. Each experience seems to be better than the last. I have yet to be disappointed and will continue to dine there. Perfect for a date or dinner with the family!
