This place is bad for roaches like me. Too clean to find crumbs for my family. Instead I hid in Laborer's pants leg and now live at his house. Super fast internet here!

This is my favorite sushiya in DC. I go there about twice a week. I always go at dinnertime, because the place is packed at lunch. The fish is always fresh and the itamae is extremely friendly. They tend to be a little heavy on Masago, and that is my only complaint. Whoever made the comment about the roaches is lying. I've been going to Momoyama for two years and have not once seen a roach or any other sign of uncleanliness. Momoyama is a safe bet for good sushi.

The comment about the roaches is retarded. There are no roaches. The kitchen and the dinning area are virtually on top of each other. If there were roaches in the restaurant they would be everywhere.

Although the food is good, the service is friendlt and the atmosphere is nice, I would never eat here again because the place is INFESTED with ROACHES. I normally go there for lunch but when I saw the Sushi Chef brush aside a ROACH as if it was nothing, I thought I better rethink where I get my mid-day lunch from

This is my fav sushi place in D.C, it does lack space but the service and quality makes up for it. They are generally busy between 12-2 M-F.

Excellent lunch specials, best price in town for what you get. Only thing this restaurant is lacking is bigger space. Lunch time is often crowded but if you call for pick up, you'll be satisfied.

This is the best place for sushi in DC. (period)
Except for the soy sauce they do EVERYTHING from scratch, and the freshness in their food is evident.
At the same time it’s quite a hidden gem... so, even though it's packed during lunch time, it’s usually very quiet at nights...
It’s more than reasonably priced, the place is meticulously taken care of, and service is friendly and extremely attentive...

Terrific food -- the freshest fish around, and the sushi is expertly prepared. Outstanding service -- friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and wonderfully attentive.
