I've been eating at Lucky Dragon for about 20 years. My girls were babies when I began eating there. The chef/hostess owners have always been gracious to us, even when we had picky small children. They were only too happy to alter dishes to their tastes.
My daughters learned to eat with chopsticks and it became a family tradition to go to Lucky Dragon and eat, to celebrate all birthdays and special occasions.
They are not as inexpensive as a buffet but well worth the taste of the freshness of the food. Instead of sticky, chewy, crab rangoon, they are always fresh, crispy, with creamy delicious filling.
My favorite dish is organge chicken which I like to get medium hot/spicy, otherwise it can be made a blander sweet/sour type. The girls like their sweet/sour chicken. The chicken is always fresh cooked to order and the breading is crisp but easy to chew, not too thick or crunchy, but tender with nice cuts of chicken, no gristle or dark meat. The vegetables are fresh, crunchy, not overcooked, and the sauces are homemade, not a packaged type. They have bottles of sweet/sour, hot mustard, and soy sauce at the tables to add to your crab rangoon, rice or whatever you'd like.
If you are looking for great taste, then I suggest you give them a try!
