INTERNET REVIEW OF:
Billy Bob’s Restaurant in Brunswick, Georgia
As I have some eleven million readers a number of my locals asked me to look into a new local restaurant and offer my opinion(s). I had not heard about Billy Bob’s Restaurant. After checking around; several of my friends and many other noted authors told me the food is very good the helpings are plentiful and that the prices are excellent. I was told by one photo journalist friend of mine that he enjoyed his meal but was a little upset because his potatoes and gravy were barely warm, almost cold. Of course this happens once in a while at any food service restaurant.
After checking, some of the reviews on line there were some not as favorable. There were several complaints about some of the employee’s attitudes and it appears there was a lot of bickering heard between the servers and kitchen staff which really upset several of the customers.
I did go to the restaurant Monday night to do a review but there was a Christmas Party planned so I decided to return on Tuesday. Here is what I experienced:

OVER ALL: Excellent_X__ Good___ Bad___ Terrible___
As I work on many of my books late at night I was looking for a place, other than Denny’s, to have coffee or a midnight meal and I am glad Billy Bob’s is open 24/7.
PROs:
a. Greeted when entering
b. Restrooms clean and smelled good
c. Over all a very pleasant atmosphere.
d. Though I am not a country music lover the music was set at a reasonable setting and not disturbing.
e. Food was hot and tasted as if it was home cooked and not processed as in many restaurants.
f. Gravy was hot and delicious.
g. Coffee was FRESH and hot.
h. Employees were down home friendly and not stuffy which is a pleasant change and fits well in a restaurant called “Billy Bob’s.”
CONs:
a. Tile floor was clean but slippery even when drying feet on entrance carpet.
b. Corner table was wobbly and not stable
c. Mashed potatoes were not hot as was also described by two other customers
d. They need a cigarette butt can outside the front door.
Overall I found it a pleasant experience and the prices cannot be beat anywhere in town.

I have not yet eaten at Billy Bobs but will do so today. From the people I know I have heard that the food is excellent and the prices cannot be beat. I also hear it is open 24-7 which is an good idea and a big break from Denny's. I am hard person to please when it comes to food and service so I will return and let you know the scoop.

Billy Bob's provided a Back to School teacher breakfast buffet for Needwood Middle. It was fantastic. They had a great variety of meat and breakfast foods to choose from. Everything was hot and fresh. They even brought all the extras. I haven't heard a negative word about the experience. I even had some eat leftovers almost a week later! I want to thank Billy Bob's and staff again for such a great meal.
