On my first visit to this location, I was eager to try a pita sandwich after fond memories of the previous one on University Blvd. I ordered the Steak in a Sack and enjoyed the flavorful fries with Cajun seasoning, while appreciating the friendly service from the staff, who seemed to work well together. The atmosphere felt welcoming and homey, making it a pleasant spot to grab a meal, and I might just return for their breakfast options soon.

Went in just a little while ago to get the Salmon, Crockett and eggs, and they forgot to give me the Salmon, honestly disappointed.

Meant to add to the review, the restaurant has cuts of cake and pie wrapped in cellophane on the counter. Problem is no prices. These cuts are super small and should cost no more then $1.25, surprisingly when the bill came out they charges $3.50 each. Just another reason I don't think Pita King will be around very long. Have noticed not lots of cars in their parking lot through the day . Certainly can understand that !!

My wife and I went into this brand new Pita King on 5671 University Blvd Jacksonville Florida,I believe we shall never return.
1 I had to repeat my order not once , not twice three times and then had the girl at the register repeat it to me to make sure.
2 There was no Ice in the coke machine at the time, which one of the girls took care of.
3 no effort was made to give us the knives, spoons and forks I had to return to the counter to request them. I did not appreciate she used her un gloved hand to get those articles for us, no telling where her hands may h have been previously, the utensils should be packaged.
4 your prices a some what higher then local stores, right across the street is a Krystal's that has a custom breakfast three eggs any way you want them, coffee , bacon (grits) Two toasts and tater sticks, all for about $5.62. I go there very frequently.

I went through the drive through, they shorted me a fry and their phone is disconnected. I will not got back.
