I used to Live in the Jay Maine area, (now in S.C.), myself and many friends would go there often, all meals were home made, the amount was plenty, (Meat Loaf was a favorite, Mac. and cheese, I even liked the Liver and Onions to name a few) it came with extras including veggies, rolls, of course you needed a drink, and Dessert, besides ice cream, they had many selections of home made Pie (I liked Coconut cream pie), also where you checked out to pay, they had many home made baked goods, (I recommend The Date Filled Cookies, each item was individually wrapped, the place was small and cozy and people would wait and be lined out the door, there are restrooms out back, this was the site where the town had a swimming pool which was filled in, at one point she was having a large garden where she would use the veggies for meals, the shoe store next door was a roller skating rink years ago, so I say SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES, HELP HER get back up and running (RE OPENING SEPT 11, after a recent break in and being vandelized, ALSO ENJOY GREAT FOOD!
