I have been spending my money at your diner at least 3 times a week since moving to the area. I have no complaints with the food, although the service is often sub-standard, especially on the later night shift. This evening, my daughter and I were in for a light dinner. I ordered a grilled cheese and bacon and at the time I ordered a side of mayo with it. When our waitress brought our food, I reminded her about the mayo she had forgotten. She never brought it. I tried to get her attention without chasing her around the room twice, without success. My daughter was through eating when she came to check on us and I asked her to remove my meal from the bill as it was then cold. She took our check to the older woman at the register who began to complain bitterly about customers like me. When I came up to pay the bill, she literally ripped the check out of my hand and threw my change into my hand. Never said 'thank you', 'come again', 'have a good night', she just glared at us and walked away. In these trying times, you would think your help would try just a bit harder to make people want to come back. She is the rudest cashier I've dealt with in a long time and shouldn't be dealing with the public. Your waitress messed up but at least she was nice about it, your older cashier acted like the mistake came out her pocket. I guess $60 a week doesn't sound like much. How about $3120 a year?
