During a quick stop in Anchorage on an eight-hour bus ride, I tried a reindeer sausage that was split, grilled, and served with a perfectly toasted bun; the first bite had a satisfying snap and a mild kick that even my fiancí©, who doesn't handle spice well, enjoyed completely.
