Visiting this zoo during our road trip was a wonderful experience, especially since it features an impressive variety of animals like red pandas, penguins, and cheetahs, all in a clean and uncrowded environment that allowed for close-up encounters. The behind-the-scenes tour was a highlight for my family, offering educational insights and personalized animal adoption certificates that thrilled my kids, making it a memorable outing we're eager to repeat.

This zoo in Illinois is definitely worth a visit, with its impressive variety of animals and interactive experiences for the whole family. From the behind-the-scenes tours to the educational train ride and carousel, there's something for everyone to enjoy at this well-kept and affordable community zoo.
