If you enjoy the Saturday Market, you will absolutely love the holiday market! It is even bigger and better than Saturday Market, indoors, and just a ton of fun to explore. I went Saturday with a friend and had the best time. Many vendors who are frequent flyers at the Saturday market are here as well. There are also local food vendors there, as well as live entertainment going on. There is something for everyone! I found an amazing piece of art for my office, some reusable household products, Christmas gifts, and more while I was there. If you are wanting to support small, local, friendly, and simply amazing local businesses this holiday season, you need to visit the holiday market. You won't be disappointed! Would I return? Absolutely. I had such a great time. Definitely worth a return visit next year. What a nice idea for local artists to get out there and show others what talent they have. There was a great variety of items you can chose from. I ended up buying a christmas tin of snacks for a family member but found out they were keto/vegan friendly and ate them all on my own. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the market. The Saturday market and the holiday market are great places to hang out with friends, listen to music, eat good food and find amazing hand crafted gifts! It is a safe place for kids and there are fun activities for the kids to interact in. We know it's Christmas season in Eugene once the Holiday Market opens on Thanksgiving weekend. Nestled in the Lane Events Center at the fairgrounds, this market is truly exceptional. Multiple vendors for food and gifts, as well as a stellar winter farmers' market in the pavilion next door. As soon as a person walks in to the foyer, they will be greeted with yummy hippie food smells (nutritional yeast, anyone?) and unique Eugene entertainers. How about an older gentleman, looking just like Scrooge, reading--by heart--A Christmas Story? If that's not your thing, I can guarantee an exceptionally talented young person playing the fiddle or flute, a tie-dye frocked magician, or a group of dancers. Once you've made it past the entertainment, you will be catapulted headlong in to a sea of merchants, each willing to gab to you about their wares. These are true professionals. Why five stars? Well, this isn't your summer Saturday Market. For the past three years, I have purchased gifts for my whole family here (~20 people)--never repeating a gift. And, to top that off, I have been able to stay in the LE$10 OR LE$20 (depending on the year) per gift level, with the items so special that no one would ever notice! The wares range from non-gassed, bpa-free canned, radiation checked Oregon Albacore (put together a box of six cans for only $35! Plus, meet the fisherman!); to Michael DiBitetto (beautiful wall art of NW landscapes from original etchings, http://www.etsy.com/shop/DiBitettoEtchings#); and also include delicately stitched purses, handmade ornaments, snuggly sweater tees with cute owls handpainted on (I'm wearing mine now!). The list, literally, could go on for miles. After you've finished your shopping (or midway through, if you're like me) you can settle in to the food court for some serious snackage. All of the Saturday market faves are there. Pad Thai, renaissance pizza, Ritta's (love or hate), lemonade artisans, etc. And lunch here always includes a show. The Holiday Market stage is continuously rockin', and sometimes the local crowd just can't help themselves but to dance. In case you couldn't tell... I love it here. I can't see how or why you wouldn't love it too : )

I can always count on a nice, hot and tasty cup of coffee whenever I visit Saturday Market and the man who is always there has such a nice smile. My mouth is currently waterin for a strawberry crepe. Double Yum.
