I planned an event for 80 people at this location and i found many bumps in the road while trying to organize it. The management is horrible. They work in a very poor manner and are extremely unorganized and arrogant. Very forgetful people that say one thing and do another. The food was good but the main course came out 2 hours late and killed the flow of the event.

My experience wasn't entirely bad as the food and service were excellent (apart from their ability to not organize themselves properly and timing issues). I would recommend as a place to eat, drink and hang-out but DO NOT do event planning. They need serious help!

Guama's Restaurant Downtown: This was the worst restaurant I have EVER been too IN MY LIFE. The first problem we had was horrible service. I had a dirty wine glass with WARM WHITE WINE IN IT (on the bottom of my glass was OLD RED WINE because the wine glass was not cleaned properly). I decided to quietly bring my warm wine to the bartender for a new glass and hopefully cooler wine. Well, instead, the bartender cleaned my glass and ADDED ICE TO MY WINE. I was beside myself that the bartender assumed by me asking him for cooler wine that meant ice...ANYWAY - then, after waiting for what seamed hours to get our food, I was disgusted to when my friend and I BOTH CHEWED ON PLASTIC when eating our not so fresh salad! THEN to top that off the OWNER of the restaurant came to apologize "I guess" and revealed to me (visually - he actually brought me a tuna filet in a pan) that the plastic in my salad was from the individually plastic wrapped tuna filet I ordered! I was disgusted. We did complain to the owner and he COULD CARELESS that we had bad service and nearly choked on plastic. In fact, not only was he INTOXICATED but so was HIS ENTIRE STAFF. I WAS APPAULLED and highly DISSATISFIED. I will never go back and am on a mission to tell everyone I know about how horrible our experience was. DONT EVER EAT AT GUAMAS!!!!!!!!! BAD BAD BAD PLACE....
