The fresh, authentic Mexican dishes here never disappoint, with flavorful options like Baja Fish Tacos, homemade soups, and vibrant salads that keep me coming back. The generous portions, reasonable prices, and friendly service create a welcoming atmosphere that makes it my favorite choice on Shelter Island for delicious, satisfying meals.

The food at Maria's was a pleasant surprise, with flavorful dishes like the chicken torta and elote. While the veggie tacos weren't what I expected, the fresh salsas made up for it. The outdoor area was a nice touch, and the overall experience was enjoyable despite a small hiccup with the ice charge at the end. A great breakfast spot on Shelter Island, looking forward to returning to try out the tacos next time!
