This food was AWFUL. Apparently the only people who seem to love this are not Peruvian. I am ashamed that this place calls themselves authentic. The food was awful. As a Peruvian who knows how to make Peruvian foods, I thought going to Sardi's would be a place that makes my life easier, so in can get home style foods at higher prices, but quality. I got a half chicken meal, a quarter chicken meal, and 6 empanadas. Yuck! The empanadas were frozen, and thrown into a deep fryer. They were obviously not made there, I watched them pull it out of a bag. The empanada was not filled with different filings(as the Peruvian way), but filled with only meat. No potato, peas, or olives. The chicken was very dry and did not look appetizing, and the mote my husband got was obviously made with our topped with sugar. Mote is not this way at all! Overall, I paid 30 dollars for sad looking, bad tasting food, and I'm left with sadnes and anger because I was duped.
