On a scorching Saturday noon, the shaded patio offered some relief while I savored a flavorful bowl of potatoes, bacon, cheese, chile, and black beans-comforting and well-balanced with a hint of heat that lingered just right. The attentive service, live music ambiance, and fresh, vibrant dishes like the huevos rancheros and Hatch chili-infused salsa made for an enjoyable brunch experience that I'm eager to revisit on a cooler day.

My wife and I spent the afternoon in Old Mesilla, which is a magnificent place! We stopped in Josefina's for a cup of coffee and perhaps a snack. The place looks spectacular and completely relaxing! We really wanted to like the place. We went inside to order and were rudely told to go outside and wait for a server. We waited for about 10 minutes; finally the gentleman who told us to wait outside came out and took our order. We both ordered coffees and only one came??!! We went inside to pay after about a half an hour; we paid with a $20 bill. The exact response from the gentleman for paying with a $20 was, "You're killing me." He then proceeded to take an inordinate amount of time getting our change together, which he then dropped into my wife's hand without so much as a thank you. We left disgusted without a tip (which is difficult, seeing my wife got through college waitressing). Don't waste your time, go somewhere else, totally rude!
