Just learned that George left the King to work at Narragansett Beach. Major loss for the King. Maybe he will be back in the Fall - this is the rumor downtown! In the meantime the King is still the best coffee shop and lunch spot in the City! Steve, the new manager, is an awesome guy who will make the transition without George much easier for us! We miss you George but you left is in good hands with Steve! Good luck!!!

George's Coffee King is the greatest sandwich shop in the City. George is a great guy who loves his store and his customers. It seems that 100% of the customers come just to see George and have a few laughs! George also has a helper named Steve that is also a terrific, hard working, friendly, and funny guy. Thanks George and Steve for your great food and personalities!

I was in the area for a recent show and stopped by the Georgs' Coffee King. The owner, George, was really friendly and provided great advice about things to do in the area. George made me an incredible Italian grinder and the best ice coffee I ever had! George seems to know every customer by name and has their favorite orders memorized! George's worker, Steve, was also very friendly and loves to tell funny stories! I am glad I visted George's Coffee King on my recent trip to RI.

I come downtown every day this is the best spot to sit down and have a cup of coffee the people in there are real good they talk to u they joke around and they know evrybody it feels like the new cheers love this place all the guys are cool

I walked in one day, and I saw this Greek God. His name was Pete! So sexy.. He was not doing anything but eating a sandwich, but he was so gorgeous. He can make me coffee anyday!!! Love love love Pete!!

Super sandwiches. Super friendly staff! Only complaint, they have a coffee machine that has been broken forever and they cannot make lattes! Maybe they should chnage name to Sandwich King?

I work nearby and stop by for coffee and lunch frequently. The owner, a Greek god named George, is the cutest thing. He serves every coffee or meal with a smile. George brightens my day with his kindness and humor! The young boy that assists George is also very pleasant and very polite! George and the young boy really enjoy their jobs and make everyone feel welcome at the Coffee King. George has trained the youngster very well! Thank you George for all you do to make me feel so special!

This has to be the greatest sandwich shop in the world! The absolute best turkey paninis and wraps! Steve, the boss, is an asset to the Providence restaurant scene! Watch this guy in the future! He is the Bill Gates of sandwiches! A true cold cut genius! We are all waiting for him to open a larger restaurant!

I was at the Coffee King just the other day and recieved the BEST service. I called and ordered up a couple of salads for a work lunch and was amazed by the quality! I picked it up and it was bagged, ready to go, with a variety of dressing flavors and croutons to add! The price was incredible reasonable and the guy who wanted on me was super friendly and cute! If you want great service, a great lunch and some GREAT Greek eye-candy then stop by the Coffee King soon!

I tried Coffee King for the first time today. I was amazed at the quality of their lunch menu. The food was the best I have tried Downtown! The iced coffee beat the competition! And the staff! WOOOWWW! What a group of SEXY MEN! Women, you must visit this place, for a great lunch, and some great sights! I think I am in love with teh Coffee King!

I recently was in Providence to attend a conference. As I was walking down lovely Fountain Street, I was greeted by a fine chap named Steve. He invited me into his Coffee King establishment. He offerred me a sample of his biscotti. What a delight! It was so tasty and much larger than most coffee place's biscottis. I ordered a dark roast coffee and it was simply divine. It was robust and full of flavor! I returned for lunch and ordered a Gyro. I have not tasted such heavenly flavors since my vacation to Mykonos. The tstaziki sauce was dreamy! Now that I am back to California, I can only fantasize about one day returning Esat to visit Steve's Coffee King!
